Online and Hybrid Program Transformation

We followed a robust step-by-step process to transform an on-campus Family Nurse Practitioner Master's degree into an online/hybrid program. The program moved from a traditional structure to an innovative and highly interactive learning experience for nurse practitioner students. The transformation included faculty online teaching training and online learning success courses for incoming students.

Educational Technology Implementation

In response to the Covid-19 lockdown, we rapidly implemented an institution-wide learning management system (Canvas) and key integrated learning tools for both degree and continuing ed programs at a high-profile art and design school. Through close collaboration with IT and academic teams, we mapped out critical academic needs and developed and executed a plan for account configuration, integrations, training, and change management. 

Faculty Professional Development 

We developed Introduction to Online Teaching, a highly interactive course that places faculty in the role as online learners to develop empathy for online students. This course contains a balance of online teaching theory and practical tips, and the course models the way for facilitation of an effective online course. This course is asynchronous but contains "assignment" deadlines. This course has been revised and facilitated successfully since 2014.

Course building:  1:1 guidance and coaching

Through an established process, existing and new courses were developed by Instructional Designers collaborating closely with faculty Subject Matter Experts. Continuous quality improvement was employed for measuring and improving student success.

Academic Technology Evaluation

We partner with your academic, IT, and instructional support teams to evaluate your current academic technology ecosystem. We make recommendations for achieving greater student and faculty engagement and satisfaction, upgrades that drive innovation, tighter integration of systems, and cost savings. 

Course Site and Brand Marketing for Edupreneur

In close consultation with our client, we rapidly designed and developed an online yoga course site and training program. This expanded our client's reach globally at a time when other fitness entrepreneurs were struggling with mandated lockdowns.  Services included LMS and technology selection, course design and development using best practices for student engagement, video editing, and marketing. This successful course has earned accolades in the international yoga community and continues to generate revenue for our client.

Educational Media Production Services

We provide services for the full video production lifecycle from initial planning through production, editing, and distribution. Some of our projects include interviews with discipline-specific experts for online courses, marketing videos for online courses, and an e-field trips.

Volunteers Training for Non-Profit
 
Using a course roadmap and template, we collaborated with program staff to design and develop an online orientation course for volunteer tutors and teachers at a higher education program in San Quentin State Prison.
